Neglected Proximal Tibiofibular Joint Dislocation Treated With a Cortical Button Suspension Device: A Case Report

Proximal tibiofibular joint dislocation is a rare knee injury often missed in diagnosis. Surgical treatment with a cortical button suspension device showed positive outcomes in a recent case study.

- One-year follow-up revealed no symptoms or complications.

- Cortical button suspension is a viable surgical option for PTFJ dislocations.
- Early diagnosis and management can prevent long-term complications.
