Serum vitamin D level alterations in retinal vascular occlusions

Patients with retinal vascular occlusions have low serum vitamin D levels. Ischemic retinal vascular occlusions show significantly lower vitamin D compared to non-ischemic types, suggesting vitamin D supplementation may help.
