Identifying the best candidates for reduced port gastrectomy

Robotic port gastrectomy (RPG) offers significant benefits over conventional port gastrectomy (CPG) for specific gastric cancer patient groups. RPG reduces surgical trauma and improves recovery for subtotal gastrectomy with D1+ lymph node dissection patients.

- RPG is a potentially superior approach for specific gastric cancer surgical candidates.
