The relationship between body mass index and perceived control over labor

Individuals with obesity (BMI ≥ 30) did not report lower perceived control during labor compared to those with a lower BMI. However, the highest BMI category (≥ 40) showed a trend towards decreased labor control, which was not statistically significant after adjustments.
