    Summary

    A rare anatomical variation, a left-sided inferior vena cava, was identified during aortic aneurysm surgery. This finding highlights the importance of recognizing congenital anomalies in vascular surgery.

    • A left-sided IVC is an uncommon developmental variation where the IVC is located on the left side of the spine.
