Abstract:
Alternative treatment models are needed for high-risk and symptomatic people who are unresponsive to traditional mental health interventions. A Social Action Model is described as a tested and effective means of empowering such people. It is proposed as a culturally appropriate, stylistically responsive treatment equivalent for particular minority groups.
