Microplastics in Cetaceans Stranded on the Portuguese Coast

Summary

Most stranded cetaceans (92.11%) in Portugal contained microplastics. Harbour porpoises had more microplastics than common dolphins, likely due to diet and habitat differences, but no significant health impacts were found.
