    Background:

    • Affective disorders are complex mental health conditions.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate brain density attenuation values in patients with affective disorder.
    • To compare brain density between patients and matched controls.
    • To explore associations between brain density, ventricular size, and clinical characteristics.

    • Computed tomography (CT) scans were performed on 53 patients with affective disorder and 53 age- and sex-matched controls.
