  • Participants completed surveys on attitudes, satisfaction, and self-reported confidence in precepting.

  • A total of 61 preceptors enrolled; 33 completed the series.
  • Participants showed highly positive attitudes and increased confidence in precepting post-viewing (2.31 to 2.7 on a 3-point Likert scale).
  • Preceptors with over 10 years of experience reported less positive attitudes compared to those with 2-10 years.

Conclusions:

  • The video miniseries is an effective preceptor development strategy for health professionals.
  • Offering diverse, self-selected training options may benefit preceptors working with varied learners.
