A 2-year program combining immersion rotations and project work across research infrastructure.

Recruitment involved 4 cycles from 2019-2022, selecting 2 fellows annually.

Main Results:

8 fellows were recruited, with 62.5% entering directly from PhD training.
Fellows engaged in 44 rotation projects and 30 impact projects across 26 departments.
Self-reported significant skill development in strategic thinking, project management, and stakeholder communication.

Conclusions:

The ROMS Fellowship has been well-received and effective in preparing PhDs for business careers.
Graduates have secured immediate full-time positions post-fellowship.
Future iterations will incorporate quantitative assessment tools and longitudinal follow-up for enhanced outcome measurement.
