    A rare extraskeletal chondroma was found on a woman's wrist. This benign tumor uniquely contained cells with lipid accumulation, resembling lipoblasts.

    • The tumor exhibited a lobulated and cellular structure with mild-to-moderate nuclear pleomorphism.

    Findings:

    • A unique characteristic observed was the presence of univacuolated and multivacuolated tumor cells.
    • These cells showed intracellular lipid accumulation, mimicking the morphology of lipoblasts.

    Implications:

    • This finding expands the differential diagnosis for soft tissue tumors of the wrist.
    • Recognizing this lipoblast-like feature is crucial for accurate histopathological diagnosis of extraskeletal chondroma.
