Air Pollution inside Vehicles: Making a Bad Situation Worse

Secondhand smoke in Thai vehicles significantly exceeds World Health Organization (WHO) standards for particulate matter (PM2.5). This study highlights the urgent need for policies to restrict smoking inside cars to protect public health, especially children.

- The most common condition (all windows closed with AC/fan) resulted in the highest exposure levels.
