Association between depression, anemia and physical activity using isotemporal substitution analysis.

Physical activity, including moderate to vigorous exercise, lowers depression risk in both anemic and non-anemic individuals. Engaging in any acceptable duration of physical activity is recommended for anemic patients to prevent depression.
