Summary

Balloon atrial septostomy (BAS) effectively treats dextro-transposition of the great arteries by improving oxygen saturation and atrial septal defect size. This study found no significant difference in outcomes between small and large BAS balloons, suggesting smaller balloons may be sufficient.
