Intersectionality provides a framework for understanding the multidimensionality of health, privilege, and oppression.

Purpose of the Study:

To conduct a scoping review of how nurses have implemented intersectionality in peer-reviewed literature.
To provide insights for incorporating intersectionality into future nursing research and healthcare.

Systematic searches of major databases (PubMed, SCOPUS, EMBASE, CINAHL, Health Source) from 1989-2023.
Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to identify 131 relevant research articles.
Data extraction and synthesis described the application of intersectionality in nursing research.
