Thyroid function in pediatric patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis

Children with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) require thyroid function monitoring, particularly those with the polyarticular form, which shows a higher incidence of thyroid alterations and autoimmune thyroid diseases.
