Sex differences in dynamic joint stiffness during walking in older adults

Older women exhibit lower ankle dynamic joint stiffness (DJS) due to reduced ankle moments, necessitating ankle support. Knee DJS differences were observed but did not explain knee osteoarthritis (OA) causes in women.
