Effective early strategy to prevent olfactory and gustatory dysfunction in COVID-19: a randomized controlled trial

Early saline nasal irrigation and corticosteroid nasal spray effectively prevent olfactory and gustatory dysfunction (OGD) in COVID-19 patients. These interventions significantly reduced OGD prevalence and severity compared to no treatment.
