Measurement and control of noise: comments on the present and solutions for the future

Issues about engineering controls and hearing protection are still being debated. More of this time should be channeled into reducing workplace noise. Less money should be spent fighting regulations and more should be spent on solutions. Hopefully the latter will ultimately prevail.
