- However, when incorporated into diets, FSBG substitution did not affect overall IVDMD, nutrient intake, apparent digestibility, or lamb performance (average daily gain, carcass gain).
Conclusions:
- Mycotoxin-free fermented soybean grain (FSBG) is a viable alternative protein source for feedlot lamb diets.
- FSBG can completely replace standard soybean grain (SSBG) without compromising animal performance or nutrient utilization.
