    Background:

    • Accurate staging of bladder carcinoma is crucial for treatment planning.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare the relative accuracy of MR imaging and CT in staging bladder carcinoma.
    • To evaluate the ability of MR imaging and CT to detect extravesical spread and depth of invasion.

    • Thirteen patients with bladder carcinoma underwent both MR imaging and CT.
    • The accuracy of each modality in staging was assessed by comparing findings with the final pathological results.
