Summary

We synthesized biomimetic antifreeze polymers (PATs) that mimic natural glycoproteins. Optimized PATs show excellent ice recrystallization inhibition, ice nucleation inhibition, and protein cryopreservation, demonstrating potential for cryoprotection applications.
