This article explores how artificial intelligence (AI) is being used in forensic diagnostics. It examines how AI can improve diagnostic performance by enhancing accuracy and speed. The study shows that AI can better define and separate known diagnostic categories. It also helps in associating known signs with appropriate categories. AI can process diverse data sources, including imaging and sensor data, to uncover new diagnostic associations. The study highlights the potential of AI to redefine diagnostic categories and implement new diagnostic approaches in forensic science. It also addresses the challenges in adopting AI for forensic diagnostics, including ethical and technical obstacles. The authors conclude that AI has the potential to transform forensic diagnostics through advanced data analysis.
