    Background:

    • This study reports on a patient diagnosed with acute Legionnaires' disease confirmed through serological testing.
    • The patient exhibited significant neurologic symptoms.
    • Initial brain imaging did not identify any abnormalities.

    Findings:

    • The research presents the first documented evidence of a cerebral abscess in a patient suffering from acute Legionnaires' disease.
    • This finding suggests a direct link between Legionella infection and the development of brain abscesses.
