Variability of transient elastography-based spleen stiffness performed at 100 Hz

For spleen stiffness measurement (SSM) using transient elastography at 100 Hz, performing at least 15 scans per examination is recommended. This ensures low intraexamination variability, especially for high spleen stiffness values indicative of portal hypertension.
