Similarities and Differences Between Diabetes-Related and Trauma-Related Calcaneal Osteomyelitis: Comparisons Based

Diabetes-related calcaneal osteomyelitis (DRCO) patients are older, more frequently female, and experience worse outcomes, including higher relapse and amputation rates, compared to trauma-related CO (TRCO). - The clinical efficacy and prognosis for DRCO are significantly worse compared to TRCO.
