Large vessel vasculitis (LVV), including giant cell arteritis (GCA) and Takayasu arteritis (TAK), requires prompt diagnosis. Fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG-PET/CT) aids in detecting vascular inflammation and guiding treatment for LVV.
