Correlation between 18F-FDG PET-derived parameters and quantitative pathological characteristics of soft tissue

Positron emission tomography (PET) maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) in soft tissue sarcoma (STS) correlates with tumor characteristics. This finding may help evaluate M2 macrophage infiltration and guide preclinical assessment of STS.
