    Skin metastasis from transitional cell bladder cancer, though rare, is increasingly observed in patients living longer. This study highlights the significance of skin biopsy for diagnosing this uncommon manifestation of urothelial malignancy.

    Background:

    • Transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) is the most common type of bladder cancer.
    • Metastasis of TCC to the skin is considered an uncommon event.
    • Previous literature suggests a low incidence of cutaneous TCC metastasis.

    • Three cases of transitional cell bladder cancer with skin metastasis are presented.
    • This metastatic pattern was previously thought to be rare.
    • The findings suggest this manifestation may be more frequent than historically reported.

    • The occurrence of skin metastasis in transitional cell bladder cancer may not be as rare as previously believed.
