A Rapid and Simplified Method to Isolate Specific Regulators Based on Biotin-Avidin Binding Affinities in Crops

We developed a new DNA-based biotin and avidin system (DBAS) to identify transcription factors (TFs) regulating crop genes. This method successfully identified PIP3 and PIP19 as functional regulators of rice OsNRT1.1B, demonstrating its utility in crop research.
