  • Data collection included robotic system malfunctions, intraoperative events, and postoperative complications.
  • Patients had procedures for benign uterine diseases or prophylactic surgery.
  • Main Results:

    • One instrument fault (5.0%) occurred, resolved within 4.8 minutes without patient complications.
    • No intraoperative complications were observed in the series.
    • One patient (5.0%) experienced a Clavien-Dindo grade 2 postoperative complication.

    Conclusions:

    • The Hugo™ RAS system exhibited high reliability in this pilot study, comparable to established robotic surgical devices.
    • The platform is a promising option for major surgical procedures, warranting further clinical investigation.
    • Initial findings support the safety and viability of the Hugo™ RAS for gynecologic surgery.
