Daily Optional Physical Education Does Not Counteract Increasing Inactivity by Age among Adolescents.

This integrated health program improved adolescent self-rated health and reduced sugary drink consumption. However, physical inactivity increased, suggesting a need for mandatory physical education to combat this health risk behavior.
