Dapoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), shows promise as an antiviral drug against Zika virus (ZIKV). It inhibits ZIKV RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) and reduces viral replication with low toxicity.
