The diagnostic and prognostic significance of an asymptomatic positive exercise test

The presence of "asymptomatic" ST segment depression during exercise testing places the patient with established CAD at higher risk. The prognosis of these patients is determined primarily by the severity of CAD, the left ventricular function, and the exercise capacity on an exercise test.
