Great Toe Osteoid Osteoma with Atypical Presentation: A Case Report

Osteoid osteoma, a benign bone lesion, rarely affects small bones like phalanges, posing diagnostic challenges. Radiofrequency ablation effectively treated a phalangeal osteoid osteoma, relieving pain.

- Single-photon emission computerized tomography is crucial for diagnosing phalangeal osteoid osteoma when other methods fail.

- Consider osteoid osteoma in the differential diagnosis for chronic foot pain, especially with nocturnal exacerbation.
