    Summary

    Pyotraumatic dermatitis in dogs presents two patterns: superficial ulcerative inflammation and localized suppurative folliculitis. Antibiotics are recommended for severe or corticosteroid-resistant cases, particularly in Golden Retrievers and Saint Bernards.
