Evidence and Gap Maps (EGMs) require regular updates to incorporate new research.
Updating EGMs involves time-consuming literature searches.
Search Summary Tables (SSTs) can optimize these searches by identifying effective and redundant databases.

Purpose of the Study:

To utilize an SST to streamline search methodologies for an EGM focused on intergenerational activities.
To identify the most efficient databases and search strategies for EGM updates.

Conducted comprehensive searches across 15 databases for the EGM.
Screened 8638 records, including 500 studies in the final EGM.
Analyzed database performance using SSTs to assess sensitivity, specificity, and unique study yield.
