A new diagnostic platform, EBV-LAMAD, rapidly detects Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) using loop-mediated isothermal amplification and a gold nanoparticles biosensor. This simplified assay offers sensitive and reliable EBV infection screening, especially for resource-limited settings.
