Summary

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a safe and effective treatment for papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) near the trachea. Outcomes for PTMC adjacent to the trachea are comparable to those distant from it, showing no significant differences in tumor disappearance or progression.
