Abstract:
The removal of thyroid lobes and isthmus was performed with the help of fine scissors employed in ophthalmology. The use of this instrument made it possible to considerably reduce the damage of elastic connective tissue of the trachea during operation which is of importance for the preservation of the life of experimental animals.
