Development of the Heart01:27

Development of the Heart

949
The development of the human heart, a crucial organ, commences from the mesoderm on the 18th or 19th day after fertilization. These cords undergo a transformation to form hollow-centered endocardial tubes.
As the embryo undergoes lateral folding, these paired tubes approach each other, merging into a single primitive heart...

Abdominal Regions and Quadrants01:19

Abdominal Regions and Quadrants

8.2K
To promote clear communication, for instance, about the location of a patient's abdominal pain or a suspicious mass, anatomists and clinicians typically use imaginary lines to categorize the abdominopelvic cavity into either four quadrants or nine regions to identify organs in the cavity.
