[Selection of the method of ureterotomy in ureteral calculi]

A comparative assessment of longitudinal and transverse ureterotomies in experiments and clinic has shown the transverse ureterotomy to be a more physiological method. The observation of the patients in dynamics has revealed an earlier and more valuable recovery of the ureter functioning than after longitudinal ureterotomy.
