Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the effectiveness of a novel chat-based mobile auditory training (CMAT) program.
  • To assess CMAT's impact on speech perception performance in experienced hearing aid (HA) users.

  • 42 adult hearing aid users were randomly assigned to either the CMAT intervention group or a control group.
  • The CMAT group trained for 30 minutes daily over 2 months; the control group received no intervention.
