[Comparative analysis of the morphological development of the cecal region in the chick and human embryo]

We have reviewed the studies made by some authors about the development of the vermicular appendix in the human embryo, and according with our own investigation line, we have tried to detail in this article a number of relations that we have found between the morphological development of the caeco-appendicular region in the human embryo and the development of the same region in the chick embryo.
