Impact of triglyceride-glucose index on intracoronary thrombus burden in ST-elevation myocardial infarction patients

The triglyceride glucose (TyG) index is a significant predictor of large intracoronary thrombus burden in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Higher TyG index values indicate increased thrombus burden, aiding in risk assessment.
