Rationale for the NCCLS standard H20-T for differential leukocyte counting
Abstract:
The National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards (NCCLS) tentative standard for Leukocyte Differential Counting (H20-T) was developed in the United States as a reference method for differential leukocyte counting as well as a method for the evaluation of the performance of differential leukocyte counters. The key features of this document are outlined and the reasons for their inclusion in the standard are given.
