Chaetiacandin, a novel papulacandin. I. Fermentation, isolation and characterization

Chaetiacandin, a new anti-yeast antibiotic structurally related to papulacandin, was isolated from a culture of Monochaetia dimorphospora. The fermentation, isolation, and physico-chemical and biological properties are reported. The molecular formula of this compound was determined as C43H60O16.
