Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) involves immune dysregulation. IgD+ memory B cells may contribute to allergic conditions in CVID patients, while anergic IgD+ B cells appear unaffected.

- IgD+IgM- memory B cells may be implicated in the immunopathogenesis of allergic rhinitis and asthma in CVID patients.
- Further research is necessary to elucidate the precise role of IgD+IgM- memory B cells in CVID-associated allergies.
