This study investigated cytokine levels in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, finding Interleukin-1 alpha (IL-1α) elevated in progressive MS (pMS) and fingolimod-treated MS (fMS). These cytokines may serve as biomarkers for MS progression and treatment response.
