Molecular classification and tumor microenvironment characteristics in pheochromocytomas

This study classifies pheochromocytomas (PCCs) into metabolism-type and kinase-type using single-cell RNA sequencing. Kinase-type PCCs may benefit from combined kinase inhibitor and immunotherapy, while metabolism-type PCCs are not suitable for immunotherapy.

- Metabolism-type PCCs, with their antigen presentation ability, may not be suitable for immunotherapy.
